What is Dermaforce?
Skin rejuvenation and tightening with Dermaforce, an advanced aesthetics device combining radio frequency (RF) and fractional micro-needling. The equipment is from an EN ISO 13485 certified company with excellent credentials.
How does it work?
The RF energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Because the RF energy is delivered so deeply, it can produce faster results that are more dramatic. RF Micro-needling uses a gold plated needle device which gently penetrates the skin to deliver radio-frequency deep into the dermal layers of the skin. The radio frequency heats at depths that provide cumulative and ongoing benefits of collagen stimulation, skin tightening and resurfacing.

What are the benefits?
It is a minimally invasive treatment that has been used for decades to rejuvenate the skin. It is used to reduce and improve wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scars and generally improve the tone, texture and firmness of the skin. Results can include smoother, tighter, more radiant skin.
Is it painful?
Most people experience minimal discomfort. There is slight warmth and pressure in the skin during application.
Is there downtime?
There is minimal downtime. You may look a little flushed for a short period of time. You may experience pinkness in the skin and slight swelling which could last for a few days. You must avoid the sun and wear sunblock.
How long does it take to see results?
Between 4 to 6 weeks. The results last on average 12 to 24 months, however, it depends on you and whether you maintain proper skin care, hydration and sunblock everyday.
What does the treatment involve?
There will be an initial consultation to assess medical history with a consent form. Photographs will be taken and kept as part of your record to assess response to treatment. The skin is treated using multiple shots next to each other to cover the whole area. It is normal to do 2 passes over the face and 3 for the body and scarring. A cooling mask may be applied followed by sun protection.
